After a lifetime's interest in politics she finally did something about it and was elected in 2009 to represent the Arrow Valley West division in Redditch!
Her passion is education and she has worked hard to improve the standards of education in Redditch and across the county when she was appointed Cabinet Member with responsibility for Education and Skills in May 2011 until May 2013. She also chaired the Local Children's Partnership in Redditch.
She is Chair of governors at Tudor Grange Academy Redditch. She is also a Trustee of Tudor Grange Academy Trust.
Jane is 72 and has lived in Redditch with her husband for 25 years. After a 30-year career in marketing, she was keen to make a positive contribution to the community.
She now enjoys using her 15+ years in local politics as Chair of Redditch County Conservatives.
In order to relax Jane enjoys walking, watercolour painting, gardening. She is also a member of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
