Postal Voting

What is a Postal Vote?

Voting by post is an easy and convenient way of voting if you are unable to get to the polling station.  Anyone who is registered to vote can apply for a postal vote.

  • The deadline to apply to vote by post at the UK general election on Thursday 8 June is 5pm on Tuesday 23 May. If you miss this deadline you will not be able to vote by post, but you can still vote in person.

How do I get a Postal Vote?

  2. Print the form and fill it out - remember to sign it. 
  3. Send it to the address below, or drop it off in person:

Proxy Vote

What is a Proxy Vote?

Proxy voting means that if you aren't able to cast your vote in person, you can have someone you trust cast your vote for you.

The deadline to apply to vote by proxy at the UK general election on Thursday 8 June is 5pm on Wednesday 31 May.

How do I get a Proxy Vote?

Emergency Proxy Vote

In certain circumstances, where you have an emergency that means you cannot go to the polling station in person, you can apply for an emergency proxy up to 5pm on the day of the poll.
