About the upcoming elections

There are currently 3 sets of elections scheduled in Redditch, currently set for Thursday 6th May 2021.

Voters will be asked to choose a Police & Crime Commissioner as well as councillors to both Redditch Borough Council and Worcestershire County Council.

Police & Crime Commissioner Candidate

Voters will be asked to choose one candidate for Police & Crime Commissioner for all of the West Mercia force area.

Redditch Borough Council Candidates

Voters will be asked to choose one candidate to send to Redditch Borough Council based on the area (known as a ‘ward’) where they live. There are no Borough Council elections in 2021 for residents in Abbey Ward, Crabbs Cross Ward, and Astwood Bank & Feckenham Ward. Voters in these areas will be provided with two ballot papers whereas voters in other areas will be provided with three ballot papers.

Voters in all areas covered by our Association are asked to send two candidates to County Hall for divisions based in the urban Redditch area and one candidate for divisions based in the rural areas (Ombersley & Harvington).
