The Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury and the MP for Bromsgrove and the Villages joined the Conservatives’ action day in Redditch to support local candidate Fin Heath ahead of the Borough Council elections.
Dozens of Conservative members, including three of Worcestershire’s Conservative MPs, Shadow Culture Secretary Nigel Huddleston MP, Shadow Treasury Minister Mark Garnier MP and Bradley Thomas, MP for Bromsgrove and the Villages, descended on Redditch today (March 4th) to support Fin Heath, the Conservative Candidate for Webheath and Callow Hill.
Fin, who is just 21, has lived in Redditch his entire life and wants to bring “fresh decision-making” to Redditch Borough Council if he’s elected on Thursday, May 7th.
If elected, Fin’s priorities are clear. He will:
- Hold developers to account. Webheath has seen enough expansion without the proper infrastructure. Fin will ensure developers fulfil their promises to the community.
- Protect green spaces. The local environment and parks like Morton Stanley are what makes this area a great place to live. Fin will fight to maintain and protect parks and green spaces.
- Fight for the investment and bold vision Redditch deserves. From transport infrastructure to town centre regeneration, Redditch deserves better.
Fin Heath said:
“I’ve lived in Redditch my whole life, and I care deeply about the future of our area. From our green spaces to our transport links, I want to see Webheath and Callow Hill thrive.
“Redditch is a fantastic place to live and work, and I want to keep it that way.
“It’s time for fresh decision-making that actually delivers for our residents. Let’s bring real change to Redditch Borough Council.”
Bradley Thomas, MP for Bromsgrove and the Villages, said:
“These are a crucial set of local elections and it’s clear that only Conservatives are holding the Labour administration on Redditch Borough Council to account.
“I know Fin will continue that important work and will bring the fresh decision-making that this council desperately needs.
“Quite simply he is the best person for the job and he will be a first class Councillor for the residents of Webheath and Callow Hill. Vote for Fin Heath and the Conservatives on Thursday, May 7th.”
